Butternut Squash Halves
Excellent side dish when they are in season
Equipment
- 1 Microwave
Ingredients
- 1 Whole Butternut Squash
- 1 Tbsp Butter To taste
- ¼ Tsp Cinnamon
- ¼ Tsp Nutmeg
- ¼ Tsp Chia Seeds
- 1 Tbsp Fresh Honey from your backyard hive Optional to sweeten
Instructions
- Wash, split, & remove seeds from the squash
- Microwave 5M, flip and another 5M, keep cooking till soft
- Score the cooked squash to allow the flavors to soak in
- Spread butter on squash to your taste
- Mix Cinnamon, Nutmeg, and Chia. Then sprinkle over squash
- Add honey if you like it sweet
