Oktoberfest Roast Chicken

  • 1 Dutch Oven/Baking Dish

Ingredients
  

  • 1 whole Chicken
  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • 1 Tsp Paprika
  • ¼ Tsp Dried Thyme
  • ¼ Tsp Oregano
  • 1 Pinch Pepper
  • ¼ Tsp Majoram
  • 1 Pinch Ground Rosemary
  • 2 Tsp Butter

Instructions
 

  • Wash the chicken and towel dru
  • Mix herbs and spices in a bowl, rub chicken inside and out
  • Place chicken in baking dish filled with ½ inch of water. Cut butter into small pats and place on top of chicken. Roast at 325 for about an hour or until done. Baste with the pan juices every 15 minutes while cooking
