Shepard’s Pie
A classic that must be made with lamb only. Beef is not an acceptable substitute.
Equipment
- 1 9 x 13 pan pan suitable to place in the oven at 400℉
Ingredients
- 1 Tsp Salt
- 3 Large White Potatoes
- 1 Large Onion Chopped
- 1 ⅐ Cups Frozen mixed vegetables or green peas
- 1 Lb Ground Lamb
- ½ Cup Beef Broth or Lamb Broth
- 1 Shake Worcester Sauce
Instructions
- Boil and mash potatoes
- Pre-heat Oven to 400℉
- In a separate skillet, cook the onion with olive oil
- Add lamb to the onions and cook but not too much
- Add Worcester and broth, cook 10 minutes on low
- Place meat mixture in a 9×13 pan, layer potatoes on top
- Cook for 30 minutes, you can broil at the end to make the top crispy
