Shepard's Pie

A classic that must be made with lamb only. Beef is not an acceptable substitute.

Equipment

  • 1 9 x 13 pan pan suitable to place in the oven at 400℉

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • 3 Large White Potatoes
  • 1 Large Onion Chopped
  • 1 ⅐ Cups Frozen mixed vegetables or green peas
  • 1 Lb Ground Lamb
  • ½ Cup Beef Broth or Lamb Broth
  • 1 Shake Worcester Sauce

Instructions
 

  • Boil and mash potatoes
  • Pre-heat Oven to 400℉
  • In a separate skillet, cook the onion with olive oil
  • Add lamb to the onions and cook but not too much
  • Add Worcester and broth, cook 10 minutes on low
  • Place meat mixture in a 9x13 pan, layer potatoes on top
  • Cook for 30 minutes, you can broil at the end to make the top crispy
