Instant Pot Lamb Shanks
The meat just falls off the bone!
Equipment
- 1 Instant Pot
Ingredients
- 2 Medium Lamb Shanks *they need to fit in the pot!
- 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 8 Cloves Garlic
- 2 Medium Tomatoes or a handful of cherry tomatos
- 1 Large Onion Sliced
- 1 Cup Chicken Stock
- 2 Tsp Ground Cumin
- ½ Tsp Cinnamon
- ½ Tsp Tumeric
- ½ Tsp Coriander
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Brown lamb shanks on high heat to lock in flavor with olive oil, salt and pepper
- Saute onions, add the garlic near the end with all spices
- Add chicken stock to instant pot, add lamb and onion mix
- Cook 36 minutes high, 15 minutes natural release
Notes
Great with spaetzle or potatoes. Use the remaining juices for gravy topping.
