Kasespatzle – Cheese Spaetzle
German mac & cheese
Ingredients
- 1 pkg Spaetzle Boil with salt
- 10 oz Emmental Cheese
- 1 Lg Onion
- 4 Tbsp Butter
Instructions
- Peel onion and cut into rings. Heat 2 Tbsp of butter and saute onions on medium heat until brown. Watch carefully as they can burn.
- Mix cheese, remaining butter, onions until cheese is fully melted.
- Salt and pepper to taste
