Instant Pot Grits
These can be great topped with shrimp, scallops, or ham for a main dish, or as a side with eggs at breakfast.
Course Breakfast, Side Dish
- ½ Cup Onion chopped (optional)
- 2 Cloves Garlic Cleaned and chopped {optional)
- 3 Cups Water
- 1 Cup Grits
- 3 Tbsp Butter 1 Tbsp per Cup of water
- ¼ Cup Milk Optional
Saute the onion & garlic with olive oil in a skillet
Place grits, onion, garlic, water, butter in the instant pot. Cook 10M, 10-15 natural release
When done, you can add milk to get the proper consistency
I also like split cherry tomatoes on top
